“The Analysis and Structural Restoration of Tbilisi Heritage Buildings”
The workshop was organised within the programme – Sustainable Rehabilitation of Heritage Site. Historic Building in Old Tbilisi, 33, Mephe Solomon Brdzeni Street, has been selected as a pilot site to perform showcase restoration based on high standards of Conservation Principals. During 2 days of workshop participants from Georgia, Norway and Italy have challenged a problem of the widely spread practice of intense interventions to stabilise endangered historic properties in Tbilisi on the example of the pilot site.
