The project is being implemented with the support of the United States Embassy in Georgia.

The goal of the project is to raise awareness of the unique phenomenon of wall paintings in Upper Svaneti and to support their conservation. The activities of the project will contribute to the social and economic development of those communities in Svaneti that are not fully benefiting from the diverse cultural heritage potential of the region.
