Heritage Platform

In 2023, ICOMOS Georgia, in collaboration with the National Trust of Georgia and Blue Shield Georgia, established a Cultural Heritage Platform. The platform invited non-governmental organizations active in the field of heritage to create a space for sharing challenges and successful experiences in heritage preservation. Today, the Platform unites 12 organizations and operates independently.

The project was funded by the European Union Delegation to Georgia. The platform aligns with and promotes the rights and responsibilities recognized by the European Convention on Human Rights, the UN Charter of Human Rights, and several international agreements that acknowledge the rights and obligations of each citizen to take care and preserve their heritage.
